Since 1995 graphical data base according to GIS has been started. Forest maps are based on orthophotographic maps S 1:10 000 (LKS - 94 co-ordinates system).

FIMI specifies information on forests in digital data bases of topographic S 1:200 000 and satellite image maps S 1:50 000. Survey - thematic forest maps are drawn.

FIMI produces and can supply:

• basic forest maps S 1:10 000;
• forest districts maps S 1:20 000 or 1:25 000;
• forest maps of former agricultural enterprises S 1:10 000;
• forest group (nature protection) maps S 1:25 000 or 1:50 000;
• forest enterprises maps S 1:100 000 or 1:50 000;
• state forest maps S 1:50 000.
